Unattended Services
Information: We've been handling the dignified
disposition of cremains since 1997. Each person is handled individually with
care and concern. The ashes are slowly poured into the ocean. Ashes are not
commingled. All ashes are dispersed separately and will have a different GPS
location.
Our San Diego location offers at no additional charge: A
few digital photos emailed to you upon request; a phone call on the day we
are going out to scatter the ashes.
The information below is for our San Diego location,
however, we have other locations available for unattended services including
Los Angeles, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, Florida and more. $195.00* - includes filing of burial permit(s)
for out of State deaths
Please read instructions on how to send ashes. We offer local San Diego pickup
(certain areas no charge), or you may deliver them to our office - close to
Mission Valley, call for directions.
- We will need a certified copy of your loved one's death certificate unless you have a California burial permit already stating disposition to be "At sea off the coast of San Diego
County."
- Barring bad weather or sea conditions, your loved one's ashes will be scattered at sea usually within
30 days of receipt. California law requires ashes be scattered within 60 days of receipt.*
- We scatter ashes about 1 mile off of the San Diego coast
- Other locations available.
- We issue a memorial certificate listing date, location (latitude
& longitude, and name of vessel.
- You can request a phone call on the day that we
are going out.
- Video / Photography available (extra).
- Additional items, such as flower petals, wreaths, etc., can be ordered for your service.
